About Lucy
Lucy is a bright, affectionate senior tortie whose cheerful outlook shines through, even after all she’s been through. She was taken in from a Brooklyn deli after suffering a severe tail injury, which meant her deli days came to an end and a tail amputation changed her silhouette. The staff cared about her but couldn’t provide the medical care she needed, so a dedicated rescuer brought her to safety. Lucy now moves with a small balance quirk—common after tail trauma—but it doesn’t dampen her joy or slow her daily routines. She does have the classic tortie spirit, though her moods are gentler and less frequent than most. What she loves most is being pampered, massaged, and generally adored. Lucy is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and current on her vaccinations. She’s on the hunt for a home where her resilience is matched only by the love she’ll receive. Lucy prefers to be the only cat or dog in the household. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
