WINKIE — The Gentlest Little Lady There is something incredibly special about Winkie. She's a petite, long-haired tortie with luxurious fluffy locks and an equally beautiful personality. Sweet, affectionate and exceptionally gentle, Winkie seems to approach everything in life with a little bit of grace. Even the way she plays is gentle. Her absolute favorite is the feather wand, but Winkie is so polite that if the other cats want to play, she'll often sit back and patiently wait for them to have their turn first. Once the crowd clears, though, that feather is hers. When playtime is over, Winkie knows exactly where she wants to be: the bed. Soft blankets, a comfortable spot, her brother nearby and some Cat TV playing? That's pretty much Winkie's idea of perfection. But her very best side comes out when she knows you. Once Winkie trusts you, she absolutely melts for you. She becomes incredibly affectionate, soaking up pets and love with the sweetest softness about her. There's nothing demanding about her affection—she's simply a gentle little girl who loves deeply. Winkie and her brother Monty have been hand-raised since birth. Their formerly feral mama came indoors just one week before giving birth, so they've spent their entire lives together surrounded by people. Through no fault of their own, they lost the family they knew. Now they're looking for something permanent: one home, together, for the rest of their lives. Monty is her perfect counterpart. While Winkie delicately waits for her turn with the feather wand, Monty is often nearby watching everyone play. They love their cat tree, Cat TV, cozy beds, Churu treats and the occasional open sock drawer that clearly exists for the sole purpose of becoming a cat fort. Winkie and Monty are deeply bonded and will be adopted together. They're a wonderfully mismatched pair—the glamorous fluffy tortie and her sleek black gentleman—and somehow they fit together perfectly. Winkie isn't just beautiful. She's genuinely one of those soft, gentle souls who makes you feel very lucky when she chooses to curl up beside you. Born: June 23, 2024
