About Lucy

Meet Lucy, a beautiful 5-year-old Lab/Pyrenees mix who is ready to find her forever home. This gentle and protective dog has a history as a working guardian, skillfully keeping pigs, chickens, kittens, rabbits, goats, and children safe. However, Lucy's owners decided to rehome her because she struggles with thunderstorms and would thrive as an indoor family companion. She is a quick learner, already knowing her basic commands and always eager to please. Despite the challenge of hip dysplasia, Lucy remains a happy and loving dog who enjoys walks and exploring her surroundings. With her medium-length black coat and sweet disposition, she promises to be a loyal friend who brings joy and comfort to her new family. Lucy gets along well with cats, dogs, and children alike. She is spayed and up-to-date on her rabies and DHPP vaccinations. All she needs now is a family that can appreciate her unwavering loyalty and gentle spirit.
