Meet Rockefeller! Rockefeller is a sensitive soul, looking for a calm environment where he can know the routine of the day with his familiar people. He's not a cat who will enjoy impromptu dinner parties or lots of guests - but would be a great companion for a quiet, predictable lifestyle with his bff human. Rockefeller came into our care due to stress and incompatibility with other cats in his previous home. Rockefeller can have a hard time with change, so it will be important for him to go to a home that is sensitive to his body language and behavioral needs, and willing to work within his tolerance levels. When he is comfortable, he is a sweet, snuggly lap cat! In a new home, being proactive about setting up the environment to reduce exposure to things that she might find stressful will be important. Things like cat shelves added to the walls can be a wonderful addition to your decor. Cat trees and other elevated surfaces increase the living space available for a cat, helping them feel more confident by being off the floor and giving them extra opportunities for climbing, perching, and surveying the kingdom! Providing ample indoor enrichment will be essential to his being able to exhibit healthy cat behavior indoors, such as playing, climbing and scratching. Additionally, easy and convenient access to his litter box, possibly adding a second litter box, and keeping good litter box hygiene will be high on his list of requests. Cats: Rockefeller has previously displayed stress behaviors with other cats and is looking to be the only cat in a new home. Dogs: Rockefeller has no prior experience living with dogs.
