About Louie
Louie is a charming 4-year-old Beagle who wandered in as a stray before being rescued by Houston Beagle Rescue. With a small frame expected to reach about 25 pounds after some nutrition, he’s on his way to becoming a healthy little companion. Louie has good house manners and is largely house trained, but he has marked a couple of times after meals—common for a male dog in a kennel. He’s well-behaved and tends to ignore items that don’t belong to him, showcasing his good nature. Playing beagle games makes him happy, and while he enjoys chasing and engaging with other dogs, he can be content as the only dog if his family is home often. Affectionate and loving, Louie is ready to snuggle up to someone who understands his need for attention and love in a forever home.
