She is a wonderful mama. Selena is heartworm positive (not contagious) and will need treatment that we will provide. Notes from the foster: Selene is a super-sweet mama with a gentle, trusting heart and an adorable little streak of independence. She's eager to please and loves being around her people. After raising her eight beautiful puppies in a committed home, she's ready for a family of her own where she can be loved and spoiled. Selene is quite curious about the resident kitties, but she hasn't yet earned back her off-leash visitation privileges, so the jury is still out on whether she's truly cat-friendly. When it comes to people and dogs, though, Selene is definitely a lover, not a fighter.
