About Rico

Rico is on the lookout for a forever home filled with patience and love. He thrives with families who understand that he might be hesitant around new people. Rico, a handsome Great Pyrenees, made the journey to Yankee from Texas and has been enjoying daily walks, frozen treats, and plenty of grooming. This sweet boy has a lot of affection to share, but it may take him some time to adjust to new surroundings. Once comfortable, he reveals his lovable nature. He generally walks well on a leash, though he can be reactive in unfamiliar situations, so a family willing to continue his training is essential. Rico would fit best with dog-savvy teens who are comfortable with his size. Ideally, he'd benefit from a foster home where he can decompress and show more of his personality. If you have love to spare and the patience he needs, Rico would love to meet you. Let’s see if you can offer him the happy home he deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
