About Shirley
Shirley arrived at her foster home feeling anxious and withdrawn, but she's gradually revealing her sweet, loving nature. Initially overwhelmed by new experiences, she found her comfort in her crate. With some gentle encouragement, sheβs started to explore beyond it. After just a week in her foster home, she's grown much more relaxed, enjoying time in the living room with her foster siblings, indulging in couch cuddles, and even showcasing her playful side. Despite her progress, Shirley will thrive in a patient home that understands her need for a confident canine companion. Her past as an only dog was challenging, but her new, outgoing friends have inspired her to join in and have fun. She also gets along fabulously with cats, sharing gentle kisses with them. While unexpected noises may still startle her, daily exposure helps her adjust. Shirley is fully house trained, walks well on the leash, and rides calmly in the car. She's not rushing her journey, as she slowly embraces the idea of safety and joy in the world around her. With time, patience, and a loving family by her side, Shirley will surely blossom into an amazing lifelong companion. Every moment you spend with her will reveal more of her wonderful personality.
