About Harley

Harley came to the rescue from a rough situation outdoors, but she’s bounced back quickly and is otherwise very healthy thanks to the care she's received. She’s a large, spayed female who’s heartworm positive, but all treatment is covered and underway. Harley can be a bit wary when meeting new people—especially men—but give her about half an hour (and maybe a tasty treat) and she warms up fast. Full of affection, she makes herself at home in her crate and genuinely enjoys a good romp in a fenced yard, though it’s not essential for her adoption. Harley is house trained and gets along well with cats, dogs, and children. She’s looking for a family ready to offer her companionship, a bit of patience, and plenty of yard time.
