At just over a year old, he's already a substantial presence, with a bit more growing still ahead of him. Drogo came to the shelter after his family's living situation changed and they were no longer able to keep him. New sounds and unfamiliar surroundings can be a lot to take in, and he's still adjusting — patience and a calm, steady approach will go a long way in helping him settle in and feel at home. The people who know him say Drogo is house trained, knows how to sit on command, and does well on leash, though his strength shows through when he's excited. He gets along well with other dogs and has been good with children, though he hasn't yet had the chance to meet cats. Drogo has a lot of love to give and just needs someone willing to help him find his footing again. For the right home ready to offer him structure, patience, and reassurance, Drogo could turn out to be an incredibly loyal companion.
