Tessa is an adorable Pug/Chihuahua mix, around 2 to 3 years old and weighing 14 lbs. She had a tough start, found wandering the streets of New Mexico, hungry and frightened. Fortunately, she was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now thriving in a loving foster home in Colorado. Tessa's personality is blossoming as she learns the joys of love and companionship. This sweet girl bonds well with other dogs and needs a furry friend in her new home. She adores playtime and her toys, bringing joy wherever she goes. Tessa is friendly with people and other pets, and she enjoys playing in the park, happily zooming around with her pals. Despite her past, she shows no aggression and is incredibly laid-back. Recently potty trained, Tessa still needs outdoor access for bathroom breaks, so a work-from-home or retired adopter would be ideal. She loves the comfort of a soft bed and craves affection, melting into your arms for cuddles. Tessa is passive with other dogs and has a nurturing temperament, being both playful and gentle.
