About Honey & Hazel

Meet Honey & Hazel! This sweet bonded pair is ready to find their forever home together. These adorable 3-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mixes weigh in at 15 and 14 pounds. While Honey resembles a Puggle, Hazel leans more towards the Chihuahua/Pug look. They’ve shared their lives since they were puppies, and it’s clear they bring out the best in each other. Surrendered to a shelter in New Mexico due to their owner's changing circumstances, Honey and Hazel have shown resilience and love throughout. Known for their affectionate natures, they get along well with other dogs, making them great companions for a home that includes dog friends. According to their foster, Honey is the outgoing one, always ready for snuggles and adventures, while Hazel, initially a bit shy, quickly reveals her silly and loving side. Both are potty trained and enjoy being part of family life, from kids to adults. They adapt well to small spaces and are comfortable resting in their crate, providing a peaceful presence to their household. Adopting Honey and Hazel means welcoming double the love and companionship into your life. They thrive on social interaction and ideally need a home where someone is present most of the day. Both girls have been spayed, are up to date on vaccinations, and are looking for a loving family committed to positive training for their long-term happiness. These girls are ready for their new adventure. Ensure they don’t lose each other like they lost their previous home. If you’ve ever considered adopting two dogs, this pair proves that two can indeed be easier than one! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
