Meet Maximus Prime, your potential new regal companion! Weighing in at 100 pounds, he can be quite a handful, so he needs a confident owner who can handle him on a leash. When Maximus first came into our care, he was a bit timid, but he has started to show his true personality with patience and love. Previously, he has lived with teenagers and managed well; however, he doesn’t have experience with other animals. During his time at the shelter, he met another dog and was able to coexist peacefully, but we still recommend a meet and greet to ensure any resident pup at home will get along with him. Though Maximus is only 4 years old, he has much to learn, especially since he can be a bit anxious during vet visits and will need some extra patience. He’s ready to blossom even more in a loving home. If you think Maximus Prime is the right fit for you, don't miss the chance to meet him!
