Meet Mike, a handsome, water-loving goofball with the biggest eyes and an even bigger heart! Mike came to us in October 2024 from Edgecombe County when their shelter became overcrowded, and he's truly made himself at home here. In fact, he's become so comfortable with our routine that leaving the shelter can be scary for him-car rides and unfamiliar places make him anxious. But we know that's only because he thrives on consistency, and we're certain he'd settle into a loving home with a little patience and understanding. Mike would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home where he can be the center of attention. He absolutely loves balls and toys, and if you hand him one, he'll happily shred it into tiny pieces with pure joy! Beneath his quirky personality is a loyal, affectionate boy who's just looking for someone to love and call his own. Mike has been waiting long enough for his happily ever after.
