Meet Piggy! Yes, her name suits her! Piggy is an 8-year-old Boston Terrier with the cutest little snort, a big personality and a serious appreciation for the comforts of home. Piggy has lived in a home and recently returned to Canine Collective through no fault of her own when her family's circumstances changed. She's house trained, leash trained, good with other dogs and has even done well with cats. And what a delightful little character she is! Piggy loves being close to her people. She'll happily hop right onto the couch beside you, settle in for cuddles and roll over to request belly rubs. And yes, there is plenty of snorting involved! Don't let that slightly serious Boston Terrier expression fool you - Piggy is a friendly, affectionate girl who thoroughly enjoys attention. Piggy came back to us carrying a few extra "Piggy pounds." She was around 30 pounds when she returned, but she's already down to 27.8! Continuing toward a healthier weight will be important, especially since, like many flat-faced breeds, Piggy doesn't tolerate heat well. During hot weather, she's happiest enjoying the good life indoors in the air conditioning. Piggy also recently had a much-needed dental with seven extractions, so those painful teeth are now behind her. She's feeling good and ready to find her new family!
