Meet Sammy — The Dog Everyone Keeps Overlooking For more than a year, Sammy has watched other dogs find their families while he continues to wait. Not because he isn’t loving. Not because he isn’t smart. Not because he isn’t ready. Sammy simply hasn’t been seen by the right person yet. At approximately 3 years old and 34 pounds, Sammy is a handsome, happy Potcake from Saint Lucia with a huge personality packed into a perfectly adventure-sized body. He is playful, intelligent, eager to learn, and has one of those smiles that makes it nearly impossible not to smile back. Sammy is currently fostered at Spirited Canine, where he has spent his time learning, growing, and becoming the best version of himself. He enjoys other dogs and absolutely loves training and having a job to do. Give this boy something to learn and you can almost see the wheels turning. Sammy would be a wonderful match for someone who wants a dog to truly be part of their life. Walks, hikes, training, exploring new places, backyard adventures—Sammy is ready to be your sidekick.
