Meet Scarlet, a lovely 3-year-old Lab and Dachshund mix from Richmond, VA. She came to us in July with a litter of puppies and has been on quite the journey to find her confidence. Now, she's house trained and crate trained, with a fantastic temperament around cats and dogs. Scarlet walks well on a leash and loves to explore her surroundings at her own pace. Although she's made great strides, she still deals with some nervousness about new experiences and needs a quiet and patient home. She enjoys being near her people and has a sweet way of communicating her needs without being overly vocal. Scarlet thrives in a low to moderate activity setting and would feel most comfortable with another dog for company. She has a soft spot for sniffing out new places and loves engaging in some light play outside. With her vaccinations up to date, she's also spayed and microchipped, eagerly looking for her forever home. Her adoption fee is $375. Be part of her journey and apply to adopt Scarlet today.
