After spending time with his wonderful foster family, Sonny is eager to find his forever home. He absolutely loves playing fetch and can happily spend hours chasing after the ball. Nature's his playground—hiking, walking, or exploring, Sonny has the energy for it all. He even enjoys bath time! With his classic retriever instincts, he gets super excited when he spots birds and small critters and could easily be trained for hunting small game with some guidance. Aside from being an enthusiastic adventurer, he’s a very good boy. He is crate, house, leash, and potty trained, knows basic commands, and has mastered the release command for meal times. Sonny is friendly and social, getting along well with other dogs and even children. After an active day, he turns into a lovable cuddle bug, always wanting to be close.
