His new family should be ready to tackle the joys and challenges that come with puppyhood, including house training, basic obedience, socialization, and plenty of playtime. Gage is almost fully potty trained and shows eagerness to learn, knowing commands like "leave it," "wanna treat," and "sit." He's gentle when taking treats and is honing his skills in fetching a ball. Though he's getting accustomed to leash walking, he still needs some time to feel secure around people and other dogs. Gage is looking for someone who sees his potential and is ready to commit to providing him with a lifetime of love and stability. A foster-to-adopt setting would allow him to settle in and bond with his new family as he matures into the wonderful companion he's meant to be.
