Cora and her sister Bailey arrived at the shelter quite frightened, lacking the stability they needed in their early lives. Over time, they have shown remarkable growth and adaptation, thriving with the structure provided by the shelter. At around 10 months old, Cora is a playful Terrier/Corgi mix who has already learned to enjoy her walks. Initially apprehensive about being leashed, she now approaches it with much more confidence. You can see her Corgi heritage shine through in her herding instincts as she plays with other dogs. While Cora has become more comfortable with volunteers, she may still require time to warm up to new faces. She would benefit from having a doggy sibling at home and would thrive in a household with older children. Her sweet personality, highlighted by a unique heart-shaped marking on her forehead, makes her a wonderful companion. Cora is affectionate and loves belly rubs once she feels secure. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can continue to blossom.
