About Talus
Talus, often called Tal, joined the Orphan Kitten Project as a tiny bottle baby with a swollen left hind limb. Although there were discussions about amputation, this vibrant orange boy decided he wanted to keep all four legs. His left hind leg has healed improperly, resulting in a luxated tarsus. However, you’d never guess that when you see him at play. Talus leaps and bounds as soon as the cat wand comes out, showcasing his playful spirit. He loves to jump and climb everything in sight, including furniture and cat trees. When he’s ready for a break, he’ll snuggle up on your lap, needing just a little recharge before he dashes off to his next adventure. He’s also known for bringing you pom pom balls for play, though whether he retrieves them is entirely up to his mood. This little guy gets along well with dogs and other cats. He thrives in a home with another young kitten to play with or could be adopted alongside his brother, Acromion. Talus is also a hit with kids; he allows them to play with his paws and rub his belly without any fuss. His estimated birthday is March 23, 2026.
