Meet Chip, the charming pup who's the perfect blend of smart, sweet, and utterly adorable. At just 7 months old and weighing around 35 pounds, he's a mix of Lab, Border Collie, and Hound, with a lovely slender build. This little guy is expected to reach about 50 pounds when fully grown. Saved from a rural shelter where he was the last of his litter, Chip has seamlessly transitioned into foster care. His foster family praises him for being incredibly intelligent and quick to learn. He’s already housebroken and is getting the hang of the dog door while working on his indoor manners. With a calm and loyal demeanor, Chip has a knack for stealing hearts. Chip loves being near his humans, often flopping down right beside you, even joining you in the shower! Happy to play with other dogs, he also gets along well with cats and children, particularly those over 5. He's inherited some Border Collie instincts and will alert bark at strangers, but he quickly calms down when reassured. Though Chip did experience a hairline fracture to his fibula, it has been repaired, and he is on the road to full recovery. This lovely boy is sweet, smart, and ready to find the family he deserves.
