Artie is one of the sweetest pups at our Rescue, not just for his adorable looks but for his gentle personality. At just over a year old and weighing 25 pounds, this Feist and Chihuahua mix is fully grown and displays a calm demeanor that sets him apart from his breed. He’s currently enjoying life with a loving Foster family in Great Neck, NY, where he shows kindness to everyone, including adults and children. Artie thrives in play with other dogs and gets along with cats too. Though initially a bit shy, he quickly warms up to new friends, and with a few tasty treats, he becomes your loyal companion. A suburban home with a fenced yard would be ideal for him, as he loves to bask in the sun and romp around with furry friends. While he would cherish a doggy sibling for added confidence, he’s totally fine as a solo pup, provided he receives plenty of love and attention.
