About Gonzo
Gonzo is a three-year-old, 20-pound North American Shepherd, often called a Minnie Aussie. He was found as a stray and brought to our rescue, where he quickly caught everyone’s attention with his gentle nature. Although he previously roamed free, Gonzo shows promise in adapting to a cozy home environment. His character shines through as he enjoys being social with other dogs, and he has met a cat with ease, showing no fear or aggression. Gonzo prefers the company of older kids, as younger ones can make him feel a bit uneasy. He’s house trained and demonstrates good manners during walks, showing signs of improvement with training. This little guy is affectionate, loving belly rubs, playtime with rope toys, and quality time with his people. While he does have a history of resource guarding, consistent routines are helping him feel more secure. Gonzo is smart and eager to learn new commands, making him an ideal companion for someone seeking a loving pet. His adoption fee is $175.00. To ensure a smooth transition, we prefer to conduct meet and greets at home with all family members and pets present, within a 60-mile radius of St. Anthony, ID. Exceptions can be discussed. Get ready to bring Gonzo home and give him the loving family he deserves!
