Meet Gene Simmons, this charming senior Miniature Poodle. He spent weeks wandering the streets before animal control rescued him from a nearby homeless encampment. When they found him, he was matted and covered in thorns, but now he's clean, shaved, and in a loving foster home. Gene is friendly with dogs, cats, and children. He doesn’t bark much and walks well on a leash. Although he is on the thinner side, he has a healthy appetite and a truly sweet, affectionate nature. You might find it amusing that he gets particularly happy when you play music by Tears for Fears. He’s received his bloodwork and vaccines, and will soon be neutered. After that, he’ll be ready for adoption! As a bonus, his adoption fee has been covered by a generous donor! Gene is currently fostered in Bryan, Texas, but we offer nationwide transport, allowing him to fly with a flight nanny to any state in the US for $250.
