Meet Kita, an 11-month-old Great Pyrenees mix and your future cuddle buddy! Weighing around 50 pounds, this sweet girl is all about snuggling and being close to her humans. She's convinced that personal space is a suggestion—more of a pillow with hands than a dog, really. While she's back with us through no fault of her own, Kita is ready to embrace a new chapter. Kita thrives on affection and loves to play with other dogs. She enjoys wrestling, running around the yard, and even playing fetch, a rarity for her breed mix! With great feline diplomacy, she's lived happily with cats—adapting well to both playful and grumpy attitudes in her furry roommates. Missing kids in her social circles? We can't say how she’d feel about them just yet, as she hasn't met any. Currently enrolled in a board-and-train program, Kita is mastering leash manners, kennel training, and building her confidence. She’s already picking up commands like sit, stay, and come. A family committed to continuing her training will help her become a well-adjusted member of society. Kita has a moderate energy level, enjoying outdoor adventures without demanding constant attention. A securely fenced yard would be fantastic, but an active family willing to take her on regular walks would also keep her happy. She loves being outside, having space to run and play, and she’s fully housetrained as well. This girl wants an active, loving home—one that sees her as more than just a decorative dog.
