Meet Ruby, a lovable three-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a birthday around May 1, 2023. Ruby's journey began on the streets of Northern Mississippi, where she was found abandoned. Thanks to a caring college student, she made her way to us. Initially, Ruby faced many challenges, including treatment for heartworms, skin issues, and injuries from her past abuse. However, with proper care, she has blossomed and shows no signs of her painful beginnings. Ruby is timid but warms up quickly to those who show her kindness. She adores cuddling and has a playful spirit that's starting to shine. According to her foster mom, Ruby doesn't shed, making her even more appealing. She's good with cats, dogs, and all kinds of people, and she’s learned to walk on a leash. With her mix of brown and cream coloration and medium-length coat, Ruby is ready to find a loving home.
