Meet Candy, a true survivor with a heart full of love. This delightful 4-year-old Maine Coon mix has overcome far more than most cats ever should. Originally from Kuwait, Candy was rescued from the streets after struggling to breathe. Her rescuers acted quickly, getting her to a veterinarian where they discovered fluid in her chest and diagnosed her with chylothorax, a rare and challenging condition. After undergoing surgery, Candy made an incredible recovery and is now eager to find her forever home. She requires a special low-fat diet, like Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat, to manage her health, but truly, Candy is worth every bit of extra care. Despite her past, Candy remains loving, gentle, and friendly with other cats. One of her favorite activities is making biscuits on her soft blanket, showcasing her happiness when she feels secure. Spayed and microchipped, she is ready to leave her temporary home behind to find a loving family who will provide her with the care and safety she deserves. After everything she has been through, Candy is ready for a happily-ever-after. Could you be that special someone who gives her the loving home she craves? Every animal deserves a happy ending.
