It's vital to remember that Chia may take time to adjust to the sights and sounds of home life, so adopters should be prepared to support her as she learns about walking on a leash, navigating stairs, and more. Former breeding dogs often require extra understanding and kindness as they adapt to domestic life. Chia deserves to take all the baby steps she needs to trust and feel safe.
