She’s shy and cautious right now, taking everything in at her own careful pace, but there’s a quiet sweetness beneath that timid exterior. Because Gentry has never lived in a home before, everyday experiences — like walking through doorways, exploring new rooms, or learning routines — are all new territory. She’ll need adopters who understand that progress comes in small steps. With patience, kindness, and consistency, she’ll slowly begin to trust and feel safe. Gentry will also need a mentor dog in her home — a friendly, confident canine companion who can help her learn the ropes and show her that the world isn’t so scary. Having another dog by her side will be key to her comfort and success. This gentle girl has a tender heart and so much potential.
