Meet Astro! This young boy has had a tough journey. Adopted as a puppy, Astro found himself back in animal control a year later, left behind by an owner who didn't want him anymore. He soon faced euthanasia due to a lack of space at the shelter, but thanks to a dedicated foster, he was saved just in time. Despite everything, Astro is a happy and loving dog. His foster mom praises his friendly demeanor; he's great with dogs, cats, and kids. Astro enjoys lounging around the home, going for walks, and playing in the backyard. He knows commands and is indeed house trained, making him an ideal companion. While black dogs can struggle to find homes, we are confident Astro deserves a loving forever home.
