Meet Mechelen, an adorable 8-week-old pup who is both sweet and friendly. She is one of nine siblings rescued from a situation where they were not adequately cared for. While she is active, Mechelen isn't hyper; instead, she embodies the perfect cuddle bug and companion you’ve been looking for. This breed, known for its intelligence, is often sought for family companionship rather than just working roles. Her parents reportedly have a low prey drive, making her an ideal candidate for training in specialized tasks like search and rescue or even as a service dog. She is in the ideal stage for bonding and puppy training. We are looking for the right homes for Mechelen and her siblings, emphasizing the importance of experienced previous owners. An active household with a fenced yard is preferred, and we cannot place her in an apartment. Mechelen will be ready for her forever home on August 31st, but applications are currently being accepted. The adoption fee is waived and includes two vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and she must be spayed by a designated time frame for her safety.
