About Folk

Folk is a lively five-month-old boy at our Bucktown Adoption Center in La Grange, KY. This adorable pup is not just fixed and up to date on vaccinations, but he's also microchipped! He's currently nailing the leash walking skills, making him a joy to take out. Although he has yet to fully learn house training, he's on the right path. Folk has shown great potential in socializing with other dogs, and might thrive with a canine companion. His experience with cats is minimal, so a slow introduction would be best if he joins a home with a feline. Folk is ready to embark on the exciting journey of puppyhood and would benefit from an adopter who's committed to continuing his training and socialization. Just remember, potential adopters need to enroll him in a positive reinforcement training program within two weeks of adoption— a small price to pay for a growing relationship. Don't miss the chance to meet this playful and curious pup. Every animal deserves a happy ending, and this one starts with you.
