About Artemis
Artemis is proof that patience can change a life. This beautiful German Shepherd spent much of her early life fending for herself on the Yakima Reservation. Though she can be a bit reserved at first, she has blossomed into a playful, affectionate girl eager to find her forever family. She's house trained with excellent indoor manners and loves to play, especially with friendly canine companions. Artemis enjoys running and expending her energy outdoors but is equally happy to relax and cuddle after a day of fun. Ideally, she would thrive in an active home with a secure fenced yard. While it takes her a moment to warm up to new people, she forms strong, lasting bonds once she does. Watching Artemis grow has been incredible. The shy dog who once hid in the back of her kennel has learned to embrace the joys of life. She's looking for a patient family to help her build confidence while providing her with plenty of opportunities to play and explore. Artemis is currently fostered in Seattle, WA.
