Mr. Peabody is a charming 106 lb Bloodhound looking for a home where he can soak up all the love he deserves. Born in May 2025, this gentle giant came to us when his family faced a change in living circumstances. He believes he’s a lap dog and loves being by your side, making him an ideal companion for anyone who spends a lot of time at home or can bring him along to work. This sweet boy is crate-trained, but thrives even more with a routine and human presence. He enjoys the company of kids, although due to his size and strength, sturdier siblings would be best. After completing an extensive board-and-train program, he’s learned basic search-and-rescue techniques and loves tracking scents. Keeping him mentally engaged with jobs or visits to doggie daycare helps him stay happy. He’s dog-friendly and previously lived with cats, getting along well with them.
