Osa is a female adult Labrador Retriever. She is medium-sized and weighs about 45 pounds. While Osa is still new to the rescue, she's known to be friendly and gets along well with children and other dogs. She does not have any special needs and is eager to find her forever home.

About Osa

Osa is searching for her forever home. After being surrendered by her previous owners, she landed at the Palmdale shelter on August 4, 2026. It’s unclear why they left her, especially since she had been in their care for nearly two years. Osa's upbeat personality shines through; she is friendly and sweet, though her leash manners need some work. As a young Labrador Retriever, she’s playful and energetic, fitting right in with her lively breed temperament. At about 45 pounds, Osa is a nice medium size but has struggled to stand out among the many black dogs in the shelter. Thankfully, the volunteers adore her, and she scored the highest possible at intake. Osa gets along well with both dogs and children, making her a great addition to any family. A true gem waiting to be discovered, she’s currently in San Diego, CA. If you’re interested in meeting Osa, please fill out an application! Your new best friend is just one click away.
