About Chain Chomp

Meet Chain Chomp! Also known as "Chompy" or "Chompers," he's got a story that makes his name both fitting and ironic. Despite its playful connotation, this gentle soul isn't very chompy at all. He came to us in dire condition, with a chain around his neck that hinted at a tough past. While we estimate he's around 6-8 years old, we can't be certain. What we do know is that Chain Chomp relishes meal times and loves human attention. In the kennel, he's pretty chill around other dogs, but we're still figuring out if he’s ready for a home with other pets. Right now, he’s seeking a loving human to help him understand the joys of a real home life. Weighing in at about 50-55 lbs, this Bully/Pit mix has a short coat and a face that could melt anyone's heart. His adoption fee is $150, and once you take him home, he will be neutered. Chain Chomp comes vaccinated, microchipped, and he’s heartworm negative. Swing by the shelter to meet him or reach out with any questions!
