About Firestick

Firestick is a remarkable little survivor. Rescued from a hoarding situation, she cleverly hid her puppies to keep them safe and fiercely nurtured them until they were ready to go. Now that her babies are weaned, this tiny but energetic dog is looking for a lifetime home where she can thrive. Firestick isn’t just a lap dog; she enjoys running and hiking, embracing any chance to explore the great outdoors. Though she still carries some shyness from her past, Firestick benefits from patience and understanding, making her perfect for an experienced adopter. She is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has even hiked off-leash—though she's curious about small critters. With her intelligence, she learns quickly and is eager to bond. Currently in foster care in the Portland area, Firestick is ready for the next chapter of her life. Her adoption fee is sponsored, meaning there's no cost to welcome this loving companion into your home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
