Meet Moo Moo! She started her journey outside and came to us through our Community Cats program. With limited human contact, Moo Moo will need a patient adopter to help her transition into home life slowly. While she's adjusting, she might prefer hiding, so we recommend starting with confinement in a crate. This approach helps her feel secure while exploring her new surroundings at her own pace. If you don’t have a crate, we can provide one for you to use. Remember, it's okay if she seems a little nervous at first; settling into a new environment can take time. Reassuring her with love and gentleness often works wonders. Working with Moo Moo multiple times a day can ease her transition. You can try giving her yummy wet food while gently petting her — if she seems scared, try feeding her by hand first. The goal is to help her connect positive experiences with human interaction. If you have a friendly cat at home, they can also play a supportive role in helping Moo Moo feel more comfortable.
