About Willow

Meet Willow! Rescued from a colony with her kittens, Willow showed signs of social behavior that put her on the path to adoption. As a Community Cat, she will need some time to adjust in a new environment. Expect a gradual transition - it usually takes about 3 days for her to decompress, 3 weeks to truly start settling in, and around 3 months for her to feel at home and show her personality. Initially, hiding is common, so confining her to a small area in a busy part of your home will help her feel secure while exploring her new surroundings. Patience is key with Willow; after living outdoors, a home might seem overwhelming at first. You can encourage bonding by offering her tasty treats like stinky wet food and Churu while gently petting her with a back scratcher. Willow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. The Animal Rescue League of Boston welcomes adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY, but same-day adoptions are not available due to paperwork requirements. Adopt Willow and give her the loving home she deserves!
