Meet Apollo! Apollo is an affectionate and charming young dog who was found abandoned alongside his brother, Zeus, on Old Woods Road in Cloverdale. He'll be celebrating his second birthday this October, and he’s a Labrador/Rottweiler mix. This lovable giant weighs in at 98 pounds, and while his size is striking, his heart is even bigger. Full-body hugs are his specialty, and he loves being near his people more than anything else. Toys don’t particularly interest him; he prefers belly rubs and companionship. A large, securely fenced yard would suit him perfectly, along with someone committed to treating him with kindness and making him a part of their family. Apollo may require a bit of patience as he learns his indoor bathroom manners, having spent most of his life outdoors. With consistency and praise, he can adapt to his new home.
