Being a bit nervous in new situations, Hawaiian Orchid requires a secure fenced yard or careful leash handling. While she’s generally neutral around other dogs, larger ones can be intimidating for her at first. She would likely coexist peacefully with cats due to her calm nature, although her experience with them is limited. A quiet adult home, or one with older respectful children, would be ideal; the energy of younger kids may overwhelm her.
