About Tawny
Meet Tawny. At just 12 months old and weighing 10 pounds, she’s already made her mark as a charming member of the foster crew. Spayed and heartworm negative, she has also had her nares repaired. Tawny is so much more than her medical history; she is blind and has hydrocephalus, making her a special-needs pet. Yet, despite her challenges, she is adapting remarkably well. Navigating her environment with ease, she isn’t shy about playing with dogs much larger than herself. She's shown no hesitation around the other pugs in the household. Besides her playful side, Tawny has a sweet demeanor and loves being held, often curling up in laps for nice long naps. She's been well-behaved in her crate and has started going potty outside. As a new member of the foster family, she's already proving to be quite impressive. The coming weeks will reveal more about her personality and medical needs, helping us understand what kind of forever home will be best. For now, she gets to be a typical playful, one-year-old pug discovering love and safety. Stay tuned for more on Tawny’s journey.
