About Francis
Francis just joined PugHearts and is already making an impression. He’s the type of dog that makes you wonder what he’s thinking—there’s something worldly and gentle about him. Francis looks for nothing more than a quiet seat next to you on the couch and a little peace. He’s not demanding, but he’ll soak up every bit of affection you offer. Francis enjoys an easy walk outside every now and then. He tends to be relaxed, almost mellow, but don’t mistake that for aloofness—he absolutely loves a good cuddle and will greet you with a wag and warmth. He’s crate trained, confidently walks on leash, and is still learning the ropes of potty training. He tolerates busy, energetic young dogs but may favor a home with more calm than chaos. Francis has shown interest in cats and sometimes chases, but he generally behaves well around them. He’s four years old with an apricot coat and a charming cinnamon-colored tail. Francis is heartworm positive and will start treatment in April. He’ll be ready for adoption once his recovery is complete. Click apply to start the adoption process.
