Meet Fitz! This medium-sized mixed-breed Terrier is new to our adoptable pets and is still adjusting to the shelter environment. He’s a bit nervous, so he needs a family ready to provide him with slow and patient introductions as he settles in. Because of this, we recommend a home without small children. Once Fitz is outside of his kennel, he shows a different side. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys guidance and reassurance from his handler. He passed his assessment with other dogs at the shelter! If you have another canine friend at home, feel free to bring them along for a meet-and-greet.
