Meet Coda! This lovely 4-year-old red and white Basset Hound recently joined SBR after being surrendered by her breeder. Fortunately, her breeding days are behind her, and now it's time for her to experience the joys of being a cherished family member. Like many dogs in her situation, Coda is learning that the world is filled with wonderful new experiences. Everyday things, from cozy beds and squeaky toys to neighborhood walks and tasty treats, are all part of her new adventure. Though she's a bit shy and uncertain right now, with patience, love, and encouragement, her confidence is sure to blossom. Coda thrives best in the company of one or more friendly canines to help guide her through this adjustment period. Ideally, her forever family will have some experience or a willingness to learn about the unique needs of dogs like her. Currently, she's settling in with a caring foster family and enjoying the comforts she's missed for far too long. We're looking forward to sharing updates on her journey as she completes her medical care.
