Poseidon, affectionately known as Goldberg, is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He believes he’s a lap dog, always seeking a comfy spot to cuddle up with his human. With a penchant for head pats and butt scritches, he’s proven to be a clean and sweet companion with striking golden eyes. Goldberg enjoys leash walks, though he sometimes showcases his strength. He’s done well on walks with other dogs and recently enjoyed a Dog Day Out at the beach. Volunteers noted his friendly demeanor towards everyone he met, even if he wasn’t fond of the waves. He loves a good nap and can deftly maneuver his sizable frame to snuggle by your side. Despite living with an inoperable mast cell tumor on his leg, Goldberg’s condition is stable, and he requires typical care suitable for a senior dog.
