Tommy joined us after a family member reached out when their parent could no longer care for him. The constant changes in caregivers and schedules had been unsettling for him. He arrived in early August and has shown himself to be great with other dogs in his foster home. Ideally, Tommy would thrive in a quieter environment without young children, as he tends to prefer less commotion. He has been startled before and snapped; however, given time to settle in and feel safe, we believe this behavior is unlikely to repeat. Still, we recommend an experienced dog owner for his care. Grooming is also a must for him, as you can see from his before and after photos. Initially shaggy, he looks fantastic following his recent groom.
