Niki
AvailableNiki is a senior, small mixed Shih Tzu female in Aiken, SC. She’s spayed and vaccinated with a history of good house training. Niki weighs around 15 pounds and manages well despite limited eyesight due to glaucoma and cataracts. She’s seeking a comfortable home to fit her gentle, senior needs.
About Niki
Niki is happiest soaking up the sun by a window or padding around at her own pace. She’s always grateful to find a cozy bed nearby and will quietly settle in with a gentle hand to comfort her. At about 15 pounds and 8 years old, Niki is a Shih Tzu mix with a warm, curious personality. She lives with glaucoma in one eye and cataracts in both, so her eyesight is limited—though this doesn't stop her from making her way around and keeping you in sight when she can. Her house manners are solid, and leash training is a work in progress. She does well with other dogs and, given her calm nature, will probably do fine with cats. If you have children, just keep an extra eye since Niki’s vision isn’t great. A fenced yard would be a bonus for her gentle wandering spirit. What she wants most is a peaceful home with kindness, patience, and a soft spot to call her own. Your new best friend is just one click away.
