Meet Emma, a beautiful golden retriever who’s around 4 years old. She weighs approximately 43 lbs, making her a great medium-sized companion. Emma spent much of her life as a breeding mom, which means she hasn’t always had the most fulfilling experiences. Recently adopted into a loving family, she got to enjoy living with other dogs, although she does have a strong personality when it comes to alpha dogs. Emma thrives best in a home with submissive dogs or ideally as the only dog. She prefers not to visit dog parks due to her selective playmate preferences but possesses all the wonderful traits typical of her breed. Emma is already spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and house trained. Currently fostered in Northern VA, she can be adopted in the DC metro area, Richmond area, or Harrisonburg area.
